petit nickA great way to get expose to french culture is by watching movies. In french language books such as Alter Ego and le Nouveau Taxi! You will find many references to movies as a means of teaching you about french culture. As a result, following in the footsteps of these well know french textbooks we will be recommending modern movies to help you not only learn about french culture, but also to improve your listening comprehension.

These movies can be used by anyone taking a french exam such as the DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF, CXC A’level exams etc . For levels A1 and A2, there are less movies to choose from but if you are a level B1, B2, C1, C2 almost all the movies should be ok. The movie list is also great for people who just want to improve their french and not looking to take any particular foreign language exam.

We also have a Preparation series  Guide for the Production Ecrite section and a Guide to the production Orale section of your exam. These guides that are based on topics that will be covered in your french exam. They are here to guide you and act as a companion to your main text.

This list is updated regularly so remember to sign up for our newsletter or follow us on Facebook to have the latest updates of articles and recommendation.
